We have created this beautiful cabinet for several sewing enthusiasts, tailoring it to each ones specific needs. It will hold 231 of your thread spools on 3” pegs, plus approximately 20 of the larger spools. Doors and exterior are made of exquisite oak plywood, the trim is solid oak, and the backing is of pine. The finish is sanded and varnished.

It is pictured with embroidery thread spools and supplies (not included) which are 2” and 3” tall, standard spool heights, plus the large 6" spools. The generous door storage area will hold several embroidery hoops of varying sizes, keeping them neat and easy to find. This cabinet will be made to your specifications, with the exact outer dimensions to fit your space. The cabinet shown measures 36" x 30" x 8", outside dimentions when closed.

This enclosed storage will keep your thread clean and free from dust, and will also protect your beautiful threads from damaging UV rays. Open to display all of your spools while working, and while you’re not working keep the cabinet closed for a neat and attractive work area. A must-have for sewers with a “dual purpose” sewing room.

Simply mount this on the wall of your sewing area and you will never fumble around for the right thread spool again! A welcome addition to any sewers’ or crafters’ work area.

***NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME*** This is a custom item, which will be built to your specifications. As the natural grain of wood varies from piece to piece, each cabinet will be unique in it's wood grain and patterns.

OPTIONAL ROSES - You can have these delicate rose carvings attached to the doors as an option. $25 for one (please specify which side) or $45 for two (one on each door). Please contact us prior to ordering if you would like to add this option.

Pricing

Please send us your dimensions and storage needs for a quote. The unit shown here sold for $325. Recent custom orders have added slots for stabilizer storage, raised carved roses on the doors, and lips along the lower interior edges. Let us make a cabinet designed for your specific needs. Actual shipping plus a $20 packaging fee will be added to all orders. Please provide us your zip code so we can get you an accurate shipping quote. Cabinets can also be picked up to avoid the high costs of shipping, we are located in the very center of the state of Oregon.
