Description
Each whirligig is made of individual strips of cedar wood, which have been drilled through the center, and mounted on a piece of all-thread metal. They are each hung with a heavy duty fishing swivel, and will spin lazily in the breeze. This is a set of two hourglass shaped whirligigs. The large one is about 16" tall and 10.75 at the widest point with an 18" all thread rod, and the smaller one is 8.25" tall by 5.25 at the widest point with a 10.25" all thread rod. They are just adorable together!
Your whirligigs will be shipped to you in the flat state for safety and cost effectiveness. When you receive your wind beauties, you will simply loosen the bolts on either end, and carefully spread the slats to the patterns shown. Cedar is a great outdoor wood for weathering, but it is a soft wood in a delicate, thin cut s ogreat care must be taken in this process. Items shown are 12030 and 12031.
